Invitation from LCMS ~ Reception Honoring John & Joan Busch

Dear fellow Kingdom workers of the Oklahoma District,

You are cordially invited to a "COME AND GO" Reception honoring JOHN AND JOAN BUSCH. John and Joan arrived at Camp Lutherhoma in June, 1989. They have faithfully served there for over 30 years now. What an impact they have made on all who have been blessed by Lutherhoma's programs! The reception is set for SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 from 4- 6 P.M. at CHRIST THE REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH (2550 E. 71st St., Tulsa). We're not trying to make it a surprise. There will be light food/snacks and drinks.

I greatly encourage you to come for a while to greet and thank John and Joan.  If you cannot make it, you can send a greeting through me at my address below.  If you would like to contribute to a gift for John and Joan, there will be opportunity to do so at the reception, or send it to me.  (Checks may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, and we will run the money through our church here in Claremore.)

Hoping to see you on September 7! ~ from the LCMS Oklahoma District Office

MOST Ministries in need!

Tyler Seehafer from MOST Ministries reached out to me asking if we have anyone in Oklahoma available to go to Guatemala on an eyeglass team between Sept. 14-20. MOST is in need of a few more people to join that team. Please let me know or contact Tyler if you or anyone you know is interested. From personal past experience, it is a blessing to be a part of this. ~Thanks!! Dianna
